Unlike stainless steel tweezers, titanium tweezers have many advantages when soldering jewelry. Solders will not stick to titanium, and the heat is dissipated more quickly. These innovative titanium tweezers by Bench Basics are made to a higher standard than your typical titanium tweezer. Generally titanium has less "memory" than stainless, resulting in lower griping force overtime. To combat that Bench Basics custom designed and manufactured a tweezer utilizing special grades of titanium at a whopping 1.5mm thick per side, resulting in an overall thickness of 3mm. This helps to provide extra force when holding larger items. An insulating grip on the handle helps to alleviate any temperature increases and allows for a lifetime of use at your bench.
