About Planishing Hammer, Spring Loaded Oversize Handle
Made in Italy for Pepetools at the request of Francesca Watson, these planishing hammers feature a heavy duty spring loaded hammer for repeated action to flatten thin metal surfaces quickly and easily. A hardened steel disc is grounded to a mirror finish, this ensures your workpiece maintains a perfect finish. A heavy duty cast iron base comes with 4 holes to drill the planishing hammer to you desktop. Sometimes called a "Whomper" this tool is a classic bench top accessory for any jeweler or metalsmith.
