The motor features permanently lubricated ball bearings for long-lasting, maintenance-free operation within the motor housing.

Maintenance for Longevity
Maintaining your M.LX-TXR system is straightforward. While the motor itself features permanently lubricated bearings, the flexible inner shaft should be cleaned and re-lubricated with Foredom flex shaft grease (p/n MS10006) every 40 hours of use. A more thorough solvent cleaning is recommended every 200 hours. Motor brushes should be checked periodically and replaced when worn down to 1/4" (6mm).
