For best performance, Foredom recommends checking the flexible inner shaft, wiping it clean, and relubricating it with grease every 50 hours of use. Every 200 hours, the shaft should be thoroughly cleaned with solvent and lubricated according to the instructions in your machine’s owner’s manual.
