About Patrick McMillan
Patrick is the jeweler and metalsmith behind McMillan Metals and he has been practicing his craft for over 15 years. He received his Bachelors of Fine Arts from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University and his Masters of Arts from the Birmingham School of Jewellery in England. Afterwards, he has worked for a number of companies and small businesses over the years as a production jeweler, blacksmith, stone setter, and metalwork repair person.
Since 2009, he has resided in Rhode Island and has spent his time building up his personal studio practice and teaching jewelry and metalsmithing at School One High School and The Steel Yard in Providence. When he is not working with metal, Patrick can be found sipping chai lattes at Coffee Exchange, mingling with his friends, and doodling funny caricatures of his pets.
Working with metal and making tiny shiny things is what Patrick is all about.
