How TauClean Works
TauClean™ uses advanced pulsed fiber laser technology at 1064 nm to clean surfaces without physical contact. The high-intensity beam is absorbed by rust, paint, oxides, grease, or other contaminants, which causes them to heat rapidly and vaporize in microseconds. The substrate remains unaffected — protecting critical tolerances, coatings, and finishes.
Unlike abrasive blasting, chemical stripping, or grinding, laser ablation is precise, repeatable, and environmentally friendly. Operators can safely clean metals, stone, concrete, wood, composites, and thermoplastics with no secondary waste streams. This reduces disposal costs and improves workplace safety.
