The head of each mallet is made entirely of tightly rolled water buffalo rawhide, secured with screws (not nails or staples) for maximum durability. The striking face will not damage steel, iron, brass, aluminum, gold, silver, or other soft metals. The handle is crafted from top-grade white hickory, providing a comfortable, secure grip and excellent shock absorption during extended use.
