The Foredom HP775 Duplex Spring Adapter is a precision-engineered accessory that adds a remarkable degree of extra flexibility to any Foredom flexible shaft system. Designed for intermittent, light-duty work, it serves as a seamless extension between the back end of a compatible handpiece and the flexible shafting, allowing craftspeople to maneuver into tight angles and confined workspaces that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to reach.
The spring drive is constructed from special steel, double-wound in a tubular configuration, and is enclosed within a protective flexible spring cover for durability and long service life. The adapter connects at both ends using key-tip alignment — simply align each key tip within the slot of each shaft connector for a secure, reliable fit. Important Usage Guidelines
To maximize the lifespan of your HP775 Duplex Spring Adapter and ensure safe operation, please observe the following:
Do move the workpiece slightly further from the motor when using the Duplex Spring Adapter, to prevent sharp bends in the duplex spring.
Do not subject the connection to bends exceeding 45 degrees, as this will cause frequent breakage or kinking of the springs.
Do not use the HP775 with large buffs greater than 1 inch in diameter, aggressive burs, or chisel handpieces.
Do not exert excessive pressure on the work — let the speed of the tool do the work.
Note: Duplex Springs are subject to breakage and are not covered by warranty. This product is intended for experienced flexible shaft users.
