At the heart of this flask is a 4-pin alignment system with precision-machined pins and corresponding holes on each half, ensuring the cope and drag register perfectly every time you close the mold.
The oversized square spout allows molten metal to flow smoothly and rapidly into the mold cavity, minimizing turbulence that can cause porosity or incomplete fills.
With a massive combined interior volume of 40.96 cubic inches, this flask holds a substantial amount of casting sand for large belt buckles, oversized pendants, and small sculptural objects. The solid cast iron construction provides the thermal mass and rigidity needed to keep your sand packed firmly in place during the pour.
